Requirements:
- Must have written the first version of Linux
- Should have at least 3 Nobel Prizes in Computer Science
- Must be able to debug production issues while skydiving
- Should have invented at least 2 programming languages
- Must be able to write assembly code with your toes
- Should have single-handedly scaled a system to 1 billion users
- Must have contributed to every major open-source project
- Should be able to solve NP-hard problems in O(1) time

Staff Software Engineer - Level 2
Mid-level position for those who've already built their own tech company
Requirements:
- Must have built and sold at least 5 unicorn startups
- Should have personally mentored Linus Torvalds
- Must be able to write quantum algorithms in your sleep
- Should have invented the concept of distributed systems
- Must have single-handedly fixed the Y2K bug
- Should be able to optimize any algorithm to O(0) time
- Must have contributed to the development of the internet
- Should be able to debug issues by just looking at the server

Principal Software Engineer - Level 3
Senior position for those who've already achieved technological singularity
Requirements:
- Must have personally invented time travel
- Should have built your own quantum computer from scratch
- Must be able to write code that writes itself
- Should have solved the P vs NP problem
- Must have single-handedly prevented Skynet
- Should be able to debug issues before they happen
- Must have contributed to the development of the universe
- Should be able to optimize any system to negative latency
